1+kk
Czech apartment notation: one main room (used as bedroom and living room) plus a kitchenette (kuchyňský kout). Plus bathroom. Sleeps one comfortably, two at a squeeze.
1+kk means one room (the '1') plus a kitchenette ('kk' = kuchyňský kout, literally 'kitchen corner'). The kitchen is part of the main room, not a separate space. Total useful space typically 25 to 40 m².
1+kk flats are the most common option for solo Prague renters. Rent ranges from 14,000 (outer districts) to 22,000+ (Vinohrady, Karlín). For the full notation system, see our Czech Apartment Layout Notation guide.
