Utilities, electricity, gas, and (sometimes) water consumed by your specific flat. Usually billed separately from rent, directly to you by the provider.
Energie covers what your specific flat consumes: electricity (elektřina), gas (plyn), and often water (voda). For most Prague rentals, you set up direct accounts with the providers in your name and pay them monthly.
For a 60 m² flat in 2026, expect about 1,800 to 2,500 CZK in summer and 3,500 to 5,500 CZK in winter. Older paneláks without insulation can spike to 7,000+ in cold months.
