Nájemní smlouva
The Czech rental contract, a legally required written agreement between tenant and landlord for any lease lasting more than 6 months.
A nájemní smlouva must include: the property address, the tenant's and landlord's full names (and IČO for agency contracts), the monthly rent, the deposit amount, the lease term, and the notice period. Missing any of these makes the contract legally weaker.
Czech law (Civil Code §§ 2235 to 2304) is heavily tenant-protective. Anything in your contract that gives the tenant less than the Code requires is automatically void. Bilingual contracts are common, but the Czech version is the legally binding one.
