Navigate your profile and settings

Your profile is your hub. Five tabs, My Hub, Preferences, Data & Security, Legal Policies, Help & Support, handle everything you'd ever want to change. Here's where to find what.

My Hub, your snapshot

The landing tab when you open your profile. It shows:

  • Your current plan, with an Upgrade Now button if you're on Basic or trial.
  • Your verification status, with Verify Now if you haven't yet completed Didit.
  • Your Profile Score out of 100, with a Manage Profile button that takes you to the profile editor where you can boost it.
  • Your saved roommates and saved properties.
  • A Log Out button at the bottom.

Preferences, how the app behaves

Customize the experience. Sub-sections:

  • Interface theme, Light only for now. Dark mode is on the backlog.
  • Profile card display, full photo with name overlay, or half photo with bio details visible. Affects how your card looks to others.
  • Language & translation, App Language (English / Czech) and the Auto-translate Messages toggle for chat.
  • Notifications, toggles for New Messages, New Matches, Listing Updates (on by default), and Marketing Communications (off by default).
  • Danger Zone, delete your account permanently. Anonymized within 24 hours, fully purged after 30 days, no cancel window once confirmed.

Data & Security, control your account

  • Change Password, current + new + confirm, with live validation (min 8 characters, an uppercase letter, a number, and a special character).
  • Download my data, GDPR-compliant export of everything we hold on you. Delivered in-app as PDF or JSON within 30 days. See the dedicated [Export or delete article](/help/export-or-delete-your-data).
  • Data Retention Period, a slider from 1 to 5 years (default 1) controlling how long inactive-account data is kept before automatic deletion.

Common tasks and where they live

  • Change my email, Profile → My Hub → account-info section. Requires password confirm + verify the new address.
  • Reset my password, from the sign-in page (Forgot password link). The reset email link expires after 1 hour.
  • Switch my active role, Profile → role switcher at the top.
  • Update my photo or bio, Profile → My Hub → Manage Profile (this is the profile editor, not the Profile tab itself).
