Save listings, compare them side by side, share with a friend
Save listings you are interested in, compare up to four side by side, and share the comparison with a friend or your Squad. Best used to narrow down a shortlist before applying.
Saving a listing
On any listing card or detail page, tap the heart icon. The listing moves into your Saved collection. Tap the heart again to unsave. There is no limit to how many you can save; serious renters typically end up with 10 to 30 saved before they narrow down.
Finding your saved listings
Bottom navigation, Saved tab. Or Profile, My Hub, Saved. Saved is organised into two tabs (Saved Properties and Saved Roommates), and within each tab you can group items into your own custom categories.
Comparing side by side
From the Saved page, tap Compare. Pick how many to compare, DomuPlus members can compare up to 2 listings, DomuPro members up to 4. The comparison view stacks them column-by-column with rows for:
- Price, rent and deposit, broken out so you see the all-in monthly cost.
- Layout, m², number of rooms, number of bedrooms.
- Location, district, distance from key tram or metro stops, walkability score.
- Amenities, identical icon set so you can scan in a glance for the one with the dishwasher.
- House rules, pets, smoking, guests policy.
- Compatibility, for Roommate listings, the score with you (or your Squad).
Sharing a comparison
On the comparison page, tap Share. You get a public read-only link that anyone can open without a DomuHQ account. Useful for sending to a friend, parent, partner, or your Squad chat to align on which one to apply for.
When to use save-and-compare vs apply right away
If a listing in a hot district feels right and the photos hold up, apply immediately, the market does not wait. Save-and-compare is for the second tier, listings you are interested in but not ready to commit to, or for shortlisting before a viewing day where you will see three or four in one afternoon. Squads especially should use Compare to vote on the shared shortlist.
When a saved listing changes
If a host updates the price, status, or photos on a listing you have saved, you get a notification. If a listing you saved is taken (status changes to Rented), it stays in your Saved collection for reference but is greyed out and cannot be applied to.
